Wooden Statuette of a Horse from India

This delightfully decorated horse comes from Jaipur, India.

He is beautifully painted with saddle and accoutrements including a neck collar, saddle cloth, crupper and mane decorations.

The bridle is typical of that region. He is very colourful. Intended as a toy or a gift. 21st century.

10.5” (27 cm) x 7.5” (19 cm) to pommel.
