Brown Jack

Brown Jack was a very popular horse in the 1930’s. He was mostly ridden by Steve Donoghue. He adored the horse. Here they are in the Rosebery Memorial Plate, Epsom, 30th May 1933, won by Brown Jack from Fox Earth, ridden by champion jockey, Sir Gordon Richards.  His skeleton is in the Natural History Museum, but if you want to see it you will have to ask permission because it is the Mammal Department. He was a lovely brave, generous, horse with a great heart.
