No not our present one Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, but Victorian ones.  This Duke of Cambridge was a grandson of King George lll and cousin to Queen Victoria. He was a professional army officer and Commander-in-Chief of the Forcesand subsequently Field Marshall. He was entitled Duke of Cambridge in 1850, which fits in beautifully with the Staffordshire productions. He died in 1904 at Gloucester House, London. His wife the Duchess was Sarah Fairbrother, an actress whose stage name was Louisa. They married without consent on 1847 and the marriage was annulled.  The Duke was know to have other flirtations, but he and Sarah Fairbrother’s remains were deposited in Kensal Green cemetery together.
