Mounted Pottery Statuette of Prince
This statuette was produced from potteries in Staffordshire. The now famous figures of Staffordshire Pottery were produced from 1800’s to the 1900’s with a riot of subjects from famous criminals to royalty, sporting events, farming, entertainment amongst the subjects.
This ridden Zebra is delightful. It was not unusual to tame Zebras, if one had plenty of time and they were much used in the circus. The name on the base is Prince.
